Come Try It Out!

We strongly encourage new and experienced players to drop by any of our practices, especially those held in the fall.  We have a wide range of experience on our team, and we love welcoming new players! Don't be shy!

We will have an open meeting at the beginning of this semester. Our spring practices begin on February 5, and they run Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays (with Thursdays added in March) from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm every week. All are welcome!

What is Water Polo?

Water polo is a physically and mentally challenging aquatic sport played by two teams with seven players each.  The object of the game is to score goals by shooting a water polo ball into the goal, which is defended by a goalkeeper.  Water polo mixes aspects of soccer, basketball, and swimming in a 30-meter pool.  This intense, physical, and fun game requires constant swimming, treading water, arm and leg strength, endurance, and a love of team sports.  Don't worry if you've never tried water polo before; this team consists of many new players, and the game is easy to learn.
